Lulu is currently living in a foster home but is looking for her forever home. She is a small dog, very loving and enjoys curling up your lap. She is clean in the house, spayed and vaccinated. Lulu has excellent recall when there is no livestock and walks happily off lead with various dogs.

Whittley was found running down a main road after she had been dumped like a piece of rubbish. She is a small Labrador x Spaniel. She is a playful, loving girl who gets on well with the dogs in her foster home and she would enjoy an active home. Whittley is house trained, spayed, fully vaccinated and with all her required blood tests negative. Black dogs get a really hard time in Cyprus so her best chance of a loving home is here in the UK. A grand name for a special boy. Montague has three legs which he happily moves around on with ease. Sadly his previous owner injured his leg by treading on it and did not get veterinary treatment. By the time a rescuer was able to arrange care, it was too late to save his leg. We think he deserves to have the best home so we have arranged for him to travel over to us in May. Montague is very friendly, good with other dogs and cats too. He is neutered, fully vaccinated and has had all the necessary blood tests.

Hannah is a small 8 year old pocket pointer who is sadly looking for a new home following the death of her owner in Cyprus. This gorgeous girls story is heart breaking so we’re sharing her in conjunction with another UK rescue in the hope of finding her a special home. Buttons was found at the side of a busy road in Cyprus, wagging her tail as she could hear people but too scared to move as she could hear the traffic but not see it. She had been abandoned there. Her corneas were completely destroyed and were causing her pain, so it was kinder to remove her eyes. Buttons has taken everything in her stride and her tail is still wagging. She’s very affectionate, loves cuddles and will follow you around all day.

Beautiful Owl was rescued by a lovely lady with his siblings from the streets of Romania as a puppy. Owl is small/medium sized (10-12kgs), fully vaccinated and neutered. Owl has had limited socialisation with the outside world so he can be very shy and scared around people he does not know. Owl is very sweet though once he feels comfortable with you and he is good with friendly dogs. Owl is not ready to be rehomed currently.

Enzo was seen wandering the streets for over a week before a group of rescuers thankfully managed to get him to safety. He is funny, energetic, short little guy of approximately 12kgs. He has a great personality, loves to cuddle and play. Enzo gets along well with other dogs and will boss around those bigger than him. He loves to play ball, is well behaved at the vets, good in the car and enjoys his little walks. He is house trained, neutered, fully vaccinated and all his required blood tests are negative.

Hope is a small little lady who walks well on the lead and is great around other dogs. She can be a little shy initially with people she does not know. Hope is a playful, goofy, happy character and very affectionate once she knows you. Her favourite thing is playing with her kennel mates and zooming around the kennel area. We think Hope will make a loving addition to any home.

This stunning boy is full of love and is great with people, other dogs and cats. Ernie loves to play ball and would make a wonderful family companion. He has short legs, with a very long body and is expected to be medium sized at around 12-15kgs but not tall. Ernie's brother Rufus who he was in foster with has already been adopted so we would like to find Ernie his forever home.

Libby is a sweet girl who has not had much experience of the world outside a kennel so most things are initially scary to her. She can be shy and nervous at first meets you but once she knows you’re kind, and likes you, she loves snuggling and enjoying tummy tickles. Libby can remain wary of some people and continue to react. She can also react at times to moving objects like cars. Libby is having regular training and any potential owner would need to continue this and be prepared to work with her on the things she finds scary

Jake is nervous of people, dogs and surroundings that he is not familiar with. This is gradually being addressed to help Jake feel more at ease and less likely to react. Jake is a loving boy underneath his nervous exterior. Jake is small to medium sized and currently under assessment. Jake is not ready to be rehomed currently.

before you go...

If you've made the decision to add a canine companion to your family, but haven't fallen in love with the dogs we currently have here, don't give up on us! We get dogs coming through all the time, and rehome for local stray dog kennels too. Many of these dogs get snapped up before we even have a chance to put them on our website.

​

How? Well... they've completed our adoption application form and instead of putting the name of one of our current dogs, they've said "Any" and tell us about the sort of dog that would fit in well with their family. When the potentially perfect dog comes into our care, we call them first, before promoting the dog elsewhere. 

​
