Jasper is a sweet but nervous boy of around 28kg who would need an experienced, active owner. He is currently doing well in his foster home and has shown great progress in response to training which will need to be ongoing.... read more!
Jasper is a quick learner, especially when treats are involved! He loves long walks, snoozing by the fire and playdates with his doggy friends. He is good with dogs he meets off lead but is sometimes fearful with on lead encounters. He could be an only dog but would also really benefit from living with a canine friend who can show him the ropes. Whoever adopts him will need to build his trust but they will be rewarded with a best friend for life.

Sometimes when I meet other dogs on my lead I get fearful and I would love to learn from living with a calm, confident canine friend, or on my own with an owner who can build my trust. Jasper
Jasper likes people, the people he especially loves (not surprisingly) are ones who feed him, take him out for long walks, and generally make a big fuss of him. But, he also feels that everyone he sees out on walks ought to make friends with him as well. Jasper quite likes meeting other dogs, but lacks some social skills when doing so, which is something that needs some time to improve upon. Jasper really enjoys a good rough and tumble with his current kennel mate Boots, and the two get great pleasure from this boisterous play together. Jasper will make a great companion to someone who will take him out for long walks and spend time with him, and nurture his soft side.
