Senior Paddy, is affectionate and gentle, brilliant on the lead and loves to chase a ball. Not bad for 14! He finds himself looking for new digs since his elderly owner has had to go into a nursing home, and family can only care for this darling boy until September when a move will prevent them from keeping him.
Since he’s been getting regular walks off the lead with his owner's more able family, a better diet and less time left on his own, Paddy has a new lease on life and although he has a bit of arthritis, his current healthy lifestyle means he a lot less stiff when getting up and laying down. He LOVES his walks and has no issues.
Paddy's vet has given him a clean bill of health through a geriatric blood screening and says his teeth are in great condition. Like most old dogs, he needs a kidney-friendly diet. He has age related cataracts and a bit of arthritis which makes him a bit stiff getting up and laying down but he absolutely loves a walk and has no issues walking.
Paddy is fully vaccinated for the year and also started flea, tick and worming treatments that last 3 months.
He's good with other dogs and with children, but because of his age, prefers to be gently handled, so older children who understand this would be better for him. No cats please!
Paddy is currently in Woking.
