Helping Hounds Hampshire is a Dog Rescue, Rehabilitation and Rehoming charity with kennels based in Grayshott, on the Surrey and Hampshire Border. We are a volunteer-run charity, and we aim to help any dog we can – compassion has no borders.
Many of the dogs we rescue are strays, found by the public and taken to council stray dog kennels, where they remain for 7 days or until claimed by their owners. Sadly most of these dogs have been abandoned due to a change of their owner's circumstances, or are no longer required for backyard breeding so even those that are chipped, have untraceable owners.
With the help of our volunteers and supporters, we are able to provide dogs with care and find them forever homes. With your help, we can be there for ALL dogs in need.

Honey
Female
6 Months
Age:
***AVAILABLE***
Pretty Honey was rescued from the tip with her siblings. She is a happy girl who loves to play with her sister. She can be a little timid when first meeting you, but will come for a cuddle if you take things slowly. Honey is has really come out of herself since she has been with us and would benefit from a home with another confident/friendly dog to show her the ropes. She is a mixed breed and we think she will be medium sized when fully grown. If you can help Honey by giving her a foster or forever home then please get in touch.

Una is expected to be medium sized when fully grown. Please get in touch if you can offer Una a foster or forever home.
But before you go...
If you've made the decision to add a canine companion to your family, but haven't fallen in love with the dogs we currently have here, don't give up on us! We get dogs coming through all the time, and rehome for local stray dog kennels too. Many of these dogs get snapped up before we even have a chance to put them on our website.
How? Well... they've completed our adoption application form and instead of putting the name of one of our current dogs, they've said "Any" and tell us about the sort of dog that would fit in well with their family. When the potentially perfect dog comes into our care, we call them first, before promoting the dog elsewhere.
These are some of the dogs we've recently rehomed in this way:

OLIVE

SHADOW

JADE

MARY
So if you're prepared to wait for the ideal dog, click the button below to get the ball rolling. We'll process your application. Our homing manager will call you to have a chat about your application and then arrange a home visit. This is so that the rescue is able to determine that we're all in agreement about the dog that will best suit your family, your lifestyle and your activity levels.
