Needs a friendly resident dog

Leo is a gorgeous pointer cross who is currently in an emergency foster home near Bordon after his previous fosterer (where he was living with another dog and cat) had a sudden change of circumstances. We would love to find Leo an active home with a friendly resident dog as he loves his walks and to play. Leo sleeps in a crate overnight and travels well in the car.
His experienced foster carer described him as one of the easiest dogs she has ever looked after and that he just needs consistency about what is allowed and not. Leo is vaccinated, housetrained and neutered.
His foster carer says Leo is a really clever boy, very trainable and likes boundaries. Leo likes consistency so that he doesn't get confused with what's okay and what isn't so adopters with dog experience would be ideal. He would definitely do well with ongoing training as he is very intelligent, picking new things up quickly. He's very happy to go into his crate when asked to, will use it of his own accord and sleeps in it all night.
Leo loved to have a play with is foster sister, and these always ended with him doing a dozen laps around the garden while she stood and watched him. Otherwise Leo is totally calm and just potters around the garden doing his own thing then takes himself to his crate . He's was also unphased by the dog-savvy resident cat, whom he had no interest in! He's also very gentle with dogs that need it.
Leo can be homed with children, as long as they are older and sensible, abiding by the rules Leo is given so that he continues to get the consistency he needs.
